About Us

     Blue Adobe Mortgage, founded in 2002,  has grown from a single person mortgage broker to one of the largest institutional mortgage bankers in Monterey and Santa Cruz County.  Our firm now employs 27 people (18 mortgage consultants and 9 staff).  Our primary market area encompasses Carmel to Santa Cruz.  With many of our clients relocating to other states besides California we have also extended our reach into several select western states as well.  In 2006 Blue Adobe Mortgage started a mortgage banking division - with in-house underwriters, doc drawers, funders and shippers.  In our inaugural year as a mortgage bank we closed just over $100 million dollars of closed loans through this division.

      From the beginning we wanted to stand out from the rest.   So many local companies were 'regionalized' with their names.  We wanted the flexibility to expand beyond our Central Coast if our organic growth took us in that direction.  We continue to work diligently to have our name stand out amongst the others in what sometimes feels like an extremely impacted industry.  We have worked closely with MCAR (Monterey County Association of Realtors), SCAOR (Santa Cruz Association of Realtors) and the professional Realtors in our area to stand out as a quality firm that brings value, education and clarity to their clients financing situations. 

      We do one thing and we do that one thing extremely well - we are focused on funding loans for our clients that suit their short as well as their long term needs in an ethical, sound, straight-forward fashion.  Along with single family homes and one to four unit properties we also work with our clients who require construction loans, lot loans, commercial loans, reverse mortgage and private money financing.  We do not sell real estate, prepare tax returns, or any other activity that we feel would dilute the experience or value our clients get with Blue Adobe Mortgage. 

      Blue Adobe Mortgage was founded by mortgage consultants who continue to work directly with their clients, and manage the day to day operations of the Company.  This relationship keeps us firmly grounded and gives us the insight to demand the best tools with which to assist our clients.  As our quality reputation has spread, so has the demand for our service and the number of consultants who continue to seek employment in a company that above all else keeps things simple.  There is no doubt we could have been three times larger than we are currently but we have made a conscious decision to only hire consultants and staff that share the long term philosophy and ethics that are so important to who Blue Adobe Mortgage is today.
