Andrea Schenk

President of Mortgage Banking

As an integral part of Blue Adobe's banking division, Andrea brings over 20 years of mortgage/banking experience to the Blue Adobe team.  Andrea has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the industry from origination to the selling of loans in the secondary market.  Andrea has held her real estate license since 1990 and recently became licensed as a Real Estate Broker.  Her extensive knowledge of investor guidelines and requirements lends itself to a smooth and streamlined underwriting process.  Andrea lives in the Santa Cruz area with her husband and 2 children.  In her spare time, she enjoys coaching her daughter's softball team as well as ocean fishing on her family's fishing boat.

Mike Boerlin

President of Branch Operations

Mike brings with him over 14 years of experience in the mortgage and mortgage banking business.  He began his career working for one of the largest financial institutions in the US and after a long period with a midsized regional mortgage bank founded his own small company to better serve the needs of the community he lives in.  'After some time you realize that when you work for an individual bank you are directed to sell the products that they want you to sell.  In 1995 I left to work for a mid sized regional mortgage bank and soon found out why more experienced clients and Realtors prefer to work with mortgage broker/ bankers - we were able to offer our clients a loan better suited to their short term and long term financial needs -  not the institutional banks. We've designed Blue Adobe Mortgage to be the best of all worlds.  (We have almost every product out on the market today through our many wholesale and investor channels and most can be done through our own in-house mortgage banking unit.  We will continue to add products and services that will enhance our core business of mortgage lending in the local communities we serve.')   Mike has been recognized for his outstanding achievements as top producer and has guided many local families through the home buying process. Mike's biggest advocates and source of referrals continue to be the local Realtors and his past clients. Away from work Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, time in the outdoors and being involved in numerous charitable organizations throughout our local community.

Sonia Rosso

Docs, Funding & Post Closing

Sonia joins the Blue Adobe banking division with over 4 years of mortgage banking experience, where she heads up the funding and document department.  Her great attitude and problem solving abilities are paramount to making the funding process seamless.  Sonia also possesses an advanced understanding of industry specific application software and computer hardware.  Sonia's skills help ensure that Blue Adobe maintains a high level of excellence on the technology front.

Heather Winslow

Associate Underwriter

Heather continues her career in the mortgage broker / banker business with Blue Adobe Financial Services. Another long time peninsula resident, Heather has been with Blue Adobe from their inception and was instrumental in the establishment of the Carmel office. From her past work at the Monterey County Association of Realtors office combined with her experience as a loan processor, she has in depth knowledge of the workings of our local real estate market. Heather is a true professional in everyway.

Wendy Bartz

Wendy comes to Blue Adobe Mortgage with over 20 yrs of experience in the mortgage industry.  With this knowledge she has a thorough understanding of what it takes to bring a loan to a successful close.  Wendy works hard to keep up with the ever changing industry.  She is dedicated to doing what she can to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.    Wendy and her husband have lived on the Monterey Peninsula for 25 years and consider this to be their home.  In their spare time, Wendy and her family enjoy camping and spending time at the beach.  Most importantly, they enjoy spending time with the light of their lives, Bridget, their 11 year old daughter.
