Erika Hernandez was born and raised in Salinas and is proud to serve the community she calls home. Growing up in the Salinas Valley shaped her deep appreciation for family, stability, and the importance of having a place to truly call your own.
She earned her degree from California State University, Sacramento, where she studied Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Nutrition. This educational background gave Erika a strong foundation in understanding people, families, and the long-term impact of informed decision-making. Through both her academic studies and life experiences, she developed a clear understanding of how financial stability and homeownership play a vital role in a family's overall well-being.
Life has a beautiful way of unfolding, and Erika's journey naturally led her to the mortgage industry. Transitioning into lending felt like a meaningful next step
—one that allows her to support individuals and families during one of the most important decisions of their lives. She is a licensed Loan Officer holding both NMLS and DRE licenses and is committed to continuous learning so she can provide clear, accurate, and up-to-date guidance in an ever-changing market.
Erika believes the loan process should be supportive, transparent, and empowering. She takes the time to explain each step in clear, simple terms, ensuring her clients feel informed and confident from application through closing. As a bilingual and biliterate Loan Officer in English and Spanish, she is honored to serve the diverse communities of the Salinas Valley and help remove language barriers that can otherwise make the mortgage process feel overwhelming.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with her family, walking along the beach, gardening, and engaging in creative activities that help her stay grounded and connected to her community.
She is grateful to be part of the Blue Adobe Mortgage team and looks forward to helping clients take meaningful, confident steps toward homeownership.
